My perspective on government comes from a small town view. A small town is like a family, when you make a decision it affects all the members. You see them at the grocery store, on the street corner and in the post office. You quickly learn that government is for ALL the people. It isn’t just for my conservative constituents. Government is like a marriage. I cannot compromise on things that are core to what I believe in. But I can give and take on other issues. This may not be popular thinking but I would rather try and work together to find the issues “we can” agree on, rather than fight about those things we will never come to terms on. We must be more productive and move forward past the gridlock of recent years and create a working environment that will benefit the State of Idaho.
